Stop, Think, Repeat!

Analyzing the beliefs of today and the discoveries of tomorrow.

A technology used exclusively by doctors to monitor brain waves is being used to create more and more devices that enable the wearer to interact with reality strictly through brain waves or thought. This leads me to ask if mankind can make devices that pick up and respond to brain waves has mankind ever possessed the innate ability to pick up on these transmitted brain waves? I suppose such an ability would be called telepathy.

 Is it such a leap of faith to believe telepathy could be a reality? For those of you christians out there check out examples of christ percieving thought: Luke 9:47, Luke 5:22, Mark 2:8, Mark 12:28. Also how does the devil tempt you? Is it not by placing thoughts in your head? Thoughts that you can choose to act or not act on? Is not the root of all action thought? If the root of action is thought how can we be tempted to act if not by introduction of thought?
